Meet other HIT students without putting your face or your name on the internet. You pick a username. That is all anyone else ever sees.
No photos, no real names
There is nowhere to upload a picture and nowhere to put your legal name. A profile is a username, a few broad details, and a short bio.
Nobody messages you first
A conversation only opens once you have both liked each other. Until then you cannot be contacted at all.
Delete means delete
Deleting a message removes it from the server for both of you. No tombstone, no "message deleted" placeholder.
One thing to know before you sign up
Your profile is anonymous to other students. It is not anonymous to the platform. When you register we keep an encrypted record of your email address. It stays sealed and unreadable during normal operation — not by policy, but because the software has no path that opens it.
It can be opened only when someone reports you for abuse or something illegal. The administrator must type a written reason to open it, and every opening is appended to a permanent log that cannot be edited afterwards.
This exists so that people who send threats can be held responsible. We are telling you because you deserve to know what a service knows about you before you use it, not after.
